In Unwrapped 2.0 season 3 episode 5 titled "Inside Job," host Alfonso Ribeiro takes viewers on a journey behind the scenes of some of our favorite foods. From the factory floor to the test kitchen, Ribeiro uncovers the secrets behind how some of our most beloved snacks are made.
The episode begins with a visit to the Jelly Belly factory in California, where Ribeiro learns how the iconic jelly beans go from liquid sugar to sweet, chewy candies. He also gets to taste some of the more unique flavors like buttered popcorn and champagne.
Next, Ribeiro travels to the Tastykake factory in Philadelphia, where he gets a behind-the-scenes look at how some of their classic treats like Butterscotch Krimpets and Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes are made. He even tries his hand at decorating their famous cupcakes.
In the third segment, Ribeiro visits Ben & Jerry's headquarters in Vermont, where he learns the history of the company and sees how they make some of their signature ice cream flavors like Chunky Monkey and Cherry Garcia.
In the fourth segment, Ribeiro heads to Las Vegas to visit the M&M's World store and factory. He watches as the colorful candy shells are made and even gets to create his own personalized M&M's.
The episode wraps up at the Frito-Lay test kitchen in Texas, where Ribeiro sees how new flavors of chips are created and taste-tests some of the newest creations.
Throughout the episode, Ribeiro provides fun facts and trivia about each snack, making it a must-watch for any foodie or snack enthusiast.
