In the second episode of Vegas Rat Rods, the crew takes on a unique challenge when they are asked to build an electric-powered rat rod. This project is unlike anything they have ever done before, and they will need to get creative to make it work.

The team starts by brainstorming ideas on how to make an electric rat rod that can still pack a punch. They explore different electric components and try to figure out how to fit them into the car's design. Steve, the owner of Welder Up, decides to take on the project himself and sets to work on the design.

Steve begins by stripping down an old 1931 Model A Ford Coupe, which will be the base for the electric rat rod. He removes the engine and starts to work on fitting the electric components. Steve decides to install a Tesla motor, which is known for its power and efficiency. He also adds a lithium-ion battery pack, which will provide enough energy to power the car for up to 100 miles.

One of the new challenges the team faces is how to make the car look like a traditional rat rod, while also incorporating the new electric components. They decide to use copper as a design element, which will give the car a unique look and also conduct electricity well.

As the build progresses, the team runs into a few setbacks. They realize that the Tesla motor is much larger than a traditional engine, which means they will need to reconfigure the car's design. They also realize that the battery pack takes up a lot of space, so they need to find creative ways to fit it into the car.

Despite these setbacks, the team presses on and continues to work on the car. They add a custom copper grill and copper accents throughout the car to tie the design together. They also install a touch screen display in the car, which will allow the driver to monitor the battery life and other electric components.

After weeks of hard work, the electric rat rod is finally ready for its test drive. Steve takes it for a spin around the block and is thrilled with how it performs. The Tesla motor provides plenty of power, and the car has a smooth ride thanks to its electric components. Steve is also happy with how the car looks, and the copper design elements give it a unique look that sets it apart from other rat rods.

In the end, the team is proud of what they have accomplished with the electric rat rod. They were able to take on a unique challenge and create something that is both innovative and stylish. The electric rat rod is a testament to the team's creativity and engineering skills, and it proves that even old cars can be transformed into something new and exciting.
