Ep 10. The Two Teachers

Elaina continues her journey and finds herself in a town where she sees two former teachers. Elaina had heard about the reputation of these two teachers, Nino and Sheila, who were once the instructors of a magical school for witches. The town was filled with magical beings and was lined with shops, cafes, and schools.

Elaina makes her way into a shop where she discovers that the owner is actually one of the students of the two teachers. The shop owner asked Elaina about which teacher was her favorite, but she did not know how to answer. The shop owner then explained to Elaina that Nino was more of a strict teacher, while Sheila was known as the teacher who made everything fun and exciting.

Elaina was intrigued by the possibility of meeting two former teachers of a magical school. She sets out to find them and is soon greeted by a wonderful woman named Sheila. Sheila was aware of Elaina's reputation and welcomed her with open arms. Sheila spoke about her time teaching and how she cherished her students. She then mentioned that Nino had become a recluse and that it was unlikely that they would be able to see her.

Elaina was saddened by the news and asked Sheila about the reason for Nino's solitary behaviour. Sheila explained that Nino was traumatized from an incident that involved one of her brilliant students, who had a lot of potential. That student had lost confidence in herself because of an incident with a boy in class, and Nino had been unable to help her regain it.

Despite this, Elaina decides to visit Nino, hoping to learn more about her and her work as a teacher. When Elaina makes her way to Nino's home, she finds her inside, surrounded by books and scroll paper. Nino was not pleased with Elaina's visit and made it evident by not showing any interest in her. She wasn't interested in answering Elaina's questions or having any sort of conversation with her.

However, Elaina did not give up easily and kept trying to engage Nino in a conversation. Eventually, Nino relented and shared some stories about her time as a teacher. She shared how it was difficult for her to see students without confidence in themselves and how she tried to instil that confidence in them. Nino's approach was, however, known for being very strict, and it wasn't always appreciated by her students.

Elaina learned that Nino was still feeling guilty about her former student, and she encouraged her not to keep living in the past. Elaina shared her own journey and stories, telling Nino how she learned to forgive herself and keep moving forward. Nino was impressed by Elaina's attitude and thanked her for visiting her.

Elaina then left Nino's house and met up with Sheila, where they talked about Nino. Sheila tells Elaina that she was surprised that Nino had opened up to her, as Nino had become closed off to everyone else. Sheila also mentions that she feels that Nino had taken Elaina's advice to heart and that it might take some time, but she would eventually recover from her trauma.

The episode ends with Elaina reflecting on her day. She had learned about two devoted teachers who had dedicated their lives to teaching magic. She had also been able to help Nino let go of the guilt that had been weighing her down. Elaina feels grateful for having had the chance to meet the two teachers and hopes that one day they would meet again.
