Ep 9. A Deep Sorrow from the Past

Elaina is heading to a new town where she will meet with an old friend. Before arriving, she pauses to remember the time when she first met Saya. Elaina was travelling alone when she met Saya, a witch with no direction in life. Saya had been rejected by every master she had approached. She tells Elaina that she still holds a deep sorrow from her past when she was unable to heal her brother's illness despite having the power to do so. Elaina decides to help Saya overcome this burden by taking her to see a magical flower called the "Forgiveness Blossom" which is located on top of a dangerous mountain. On the way, they are attacked by a band of robbers. Elaina defeats them, but Saya is injured in the fight. When they reach the summit of the mountain, they find the blossom and Saya is healed. Before leaving, Elaina tells Saya that she is a strong witch and has great potential to help those in need. Back in the present day, Elaina arrives in the new town and finds out that Saya is now a renowned witch, having used her experiences to become a successful healer. They catch up and Elaina is happy to see that Saya has overcome her past sorrow and has grown into a confident witch. However, Elaina is still searching for her own place in the world.
