Ep 2. Bada-Bing Bada-Boom

The episode "Bada-Bing Bada-Boom" of X-Men Evolution season 2 begins with the X-Men attending a school dance at Bayville High. Jean Grey is having trouble finding a dance partner, but Scott Summers eventually asks her to dance. Meanwhile, Rogue and Kitty Pryde are hanging out by the punch bowl when they notice Lance Alvers, a member of the rival group of mutants known as the Brotherhood, arrive with his girlfriend, Tabitha Smith.

While dancing, Jean senses something is amiss and goes to investigate. She discovers that the Brotherhood, including Todd Tolansky and Freddy Dukes, have planted a large, metallic device under the dance floor. Jean warns the rest of the X-Men and they quickly move to evacuate the gym.

Meanwhile, the Brotherhood activates the device and it begins to emit a powerful magnetic force, causing metal objects and the X-Men's powers to go haywire. Rogue is separated from Kitty and is forced to fight off Freddy and Todd, who are under the influence of the device. Lance, however, is able to resist the device's effects and helps the X-Men shut it down.

After the incident, Lance tells the X-Men about the Brotherhood's plan to rob a nearby bank. The X-Men decide to stop them, but they are surprised to find that the Brotherhood is planning to use the same device to rob the bank's safe. The X-Men and the Brotherhood engage in a heated battle, but ultimately the X-Men are able to stop them and save the day.

In the end, Jean thanks Lance for his help and invites him to join the X-Men and fight for good. Lance considers the offer, but ultimately decides to remain loyal to the Brotherhood. The episode ends with Tabitha expressing her concern for Lance's safety and his response suggesting that he may be having a change of heart about his loyalty to the Brotherhood.

Overall, "Bada-Bing Bada-Boom" is a fast-paced and action-packed episode that showcases the ongoing rivalry between the X-Men and the Brotherhood. It also introduces the idea that not all mutants are evil and that there may be potential for redemption among some of the Brotherhood's members.
