Ep 3. Power Surge

In the X-Men Evolution season 2 episode 3, titled "Power Surge," the mutant high school students are struggling to deal with their powers as they enter their teenage years. Their leader is a charismatic mutant who can control electricity, and who has been recruiting other young mutants to help him. Wolverine is able to stop the group, but he realizes that this same mutant could be the key to helping Rogue control her own powers.

Back at the school, Rogue returns after having been missing for several hours. She apologizes to her friends and explains that she had gone to try and clear her head. Just as they are starting to reconnect, the electricity-controlling mutant arrives at the school, seeking Rogue's help. He tells her that he can sense the energy inside her that is causing her to be unstable, and that he can help her if she will join him. Rogue is tempted, but ultimately decides that she does not want to become a villain like him.

In the end, with the help of Wolverine and the other X-Men, Rogue is able to learn how to control her powers and overcome her power surge. She also gains a better understanding of herself and her fellow mutants, and learns that she can depend on them to help her when she needs it.

Overall, "Power Surge" is an action-packed episode that explores the challenges facing young mutants as they learn to live with their powers.
