Jinichiro and the General infiltrate the military to try to stop the escalation of the war, despite Fusa's objections to their plan. Commander Ishu and Raigyo decide to join in the insurgent effort as well, while General Kakisu and Doctor Ryuzo have a final, deadly confrontation about their past. And now, deep within the Quickening Chamber, Shiroza tries to get Akiyuki to join their cause. When Akiyuki refuses, Shiroza traps Akiyuki and Haru deep within one of the chamber's cells.
