Ep 4. Pop-Along Cowboy

Zach & Quack is an animated television series designed for preschool children. The show focuses on the adventures of Zach, a young boy, and his best friend Quack, a yellow duck. Inspired by the cowboys they see on the screen, they decide to dress up as cowboys and go look for adventure. As they make their way through the pop-up book world, they come across a cardboard cutout of a cowboy standing in a meadow.
Quack is curious about the cowboy, and Zach explains that cowboys are the heroes of the Wild West, riding horses and saving people from bad guys. In response, Quack decides he wants to be a cowboy too. They find a horse nearby and they both pretend to ride it, imagining themselves galloping through the countryside. Suddenly, they hear someone calling for help, and they rush off to investigate.
They discover a cardboard saloon, where they find a cardboard damsel in distress. The damsel explains that her puppy has run away, and she needs their help to find it. Zach and Quack immediately agree to help her, taking on the roles of heroes and starting their search for the missing puppy.
As they search through the pop-up book world, they encounter various obstacles and challenges. They meet a snake, cross a river, and deal with quicksand. But, with their cowboy hats on their heads and their hearts full of bravery, they manage to tackle each one.
Finally, they find the puppy trapped in a hole, but they can't reach it. Using his trusty lasso, Zach manages to pull the puppy to safety. The damsel is overjoyed and rewards them with a badge each, declaring them official "Pop-Along Cowboys."
The episode ends with Zach and Quack returning home, where they admire their badges and talk about all the adventures they had as cowboys. As the sun sets, they sit down to watch the Western movie again, happy in the knowledge that they helped someone in need and had an amazing day of adventure.
