Ep 2. In the Fire

In the Fire is the second episode of the first season of Zetman. The episode opens with a young boy running through the streets at night, chased by a group of thugs. As he dashes through the alleyways, he suddenly comes across a group of men in black suits, who appear to be tracking him. He is dragged away by them, and we are left to wonder just who they are, and what they want with the boy.

He reveals to her that he was kidnapped by the Players and forced to work for them, and begs her to help him escape.

As the episode hurtles towards its explosive conclusion, the various plot threads begin to converge. Jin learns of the Players' involvement in the arson attacks and decides to take matters into his own hands. Konoha races to save her friend from the Players' clutches, but is ambushed by their agents.

The episode ends with a tense standoff, as Jin faces off against the Players' leader, who reveals himself to be a terrifying monster with shape-shifting abilities. Konoha is held captive, while Jin prepares to do battle against this new foe. The stage is set for a dramatic showdown, as the two super-powered beings clash in the fiery heart of the city.
