Watch A Gifted Man

A Gifted Man was a very interesting and insightful TV program where a surgeon who is bright and gifted suffers the death of his wife, Anna, and things begin to drastically and mysteriously change in his life. The strange but wonderful thing that happens is that his dead wife begins teaching him what is most important in life.

Michael, who is the gifted doctor, for a long time has enjoyed a good life; some would say a life of luxury and has had a career that many would envy. It is Michael's sister, who has a teen aged son and who herself is a single mother is also aware of his wife, Christina, speaking to her brother. She is happy about this; even though Michael's wife is but a figment of his imagination; a kind of ghostly presence.

What made this series interesting was that it showed how Michaels' wife had such a powerful affect on him and she helped refine his character into a gentler and caring person. However, the effect of his dead wife's presence in his life has changed his behavior. With advice from his dead wife, Anna, he becomes a volunteer at a free clinic where she used to work and begins to help people who truly need help; instead of working with people who are wealthy. He comes to realize what is really important in life and that is to help those who are in need and those who are struggling in their lives with health and work issues.

This was a very good TV series because it showed compassion and how lives can change with the help of a loved one. A Gifted Man also revealed that a person's behavior can change but often it takes a powerful event to make it happen.
