Ep 2. Cart Before the Horse

Barter Kings is a reality TV show that follows the adventures of two skilled barterers, Steve McHugh and Antonio Palazzola, as they trade their way up the ladder from low-value items to high-end merchandise.

In season 1 episode 2, titled "Cart Before the Horse," Steve and Antonio are back at it again, trying to outdo each other in the art of bartering. This time, they are both out to acquire something new for their personal collections.

Steve is looking for a new toy to add to his collection of Segways, while Antonio is on the hunt for a horse-drawn carriage to add to his impressive collection of vehicles. After scouring the classifieds, they both come across potential trade opportunities and set out to make their deals.

However, things don't go quite as smoothly as they had hoped. Steve's potential trade falls through, leaving him with no choice but to try and secure a deal for a Segway with a local hardware store owner. Meanwhile, Antonio's deal for the horse-drawn carriage hits a snag when the seller insists on trading for something that Antonio doesn't have.

Undeterred, Steve and Antonio keep their eyes open for other opportunities. Steve comes across a potential deal for a Nissan Skyline GTR sports car, while Antonio stumbles upon a classic three-wheel Messerschmitt microcar.

As the day goes on, Steve and Antonio get closer to securing their dream trades. Steve manages to barter his way into bringing home the Nissan Skyline, while Antonio successfully trades for the Messerschmitt microcar.
