Ep 5. Do You Believe In Ghosts...Yes!

In Go On season 1 episode 5, titled "Do You Believe In Ghosts...Yes!", Ryan continues to try and move on from his wife's death by immersing himself in work. However, Lauren forces him to take a break from all the meetings by assigning him to write an article about a support group for people who believe in ghosts.

As he starts to attend the meetings, Ryan feels out of place with the group's beliefs and antics. He struggles to find anything to write about until the group's moderator, Lynn, tells him a story about her deceased husband's last message to her about finding love again. Ryan becomes interested in finding out if there's any truth to this and decides to investigate.

Meanwhile, Ryan's group members are planning a "séance" to contact the dead and Ryan reluctantly agrees to attend, solely for the purpose of research for his article. However, during the séance, Ryan has a breakthrough - he starts to open up about his feelings toward his deceased wife and even admits that he's been keeping some of her belongings, including her ashes, in his closet.

The episode ends on a heartwarming note when Ryan makes a connection with a ghost that turns out to be his own feelings towards his wife. He learns the importance of acceptance and letting go, and finally starts to make progress in his journey towards healing.
