Pair of Kings

Pair of Kings is a Disney XD sitcom that began airing on September 10, 2010. Pair of Kings is produced by Disney XD and It's a Laugh Productions. The series has run for three seasons and fifty episodes thus far, with the third season premiering on June 18, 2012. Pair of Kings is filmed with a live studio audience, and was created using actors from several other Disney television series.

Pair of Kings takes place on the fictional island of Kinkow. The island is based on various Polynesian islands. The island kingdom is ruled by the two main characters of the show. The show focuses on the main characters' struggle to become accustomed to their new home and how to rule their new home. Other plots center around the twins attempting to discover who is the elder twin so they can rule alone. Another common plot deals with the multiple attempts by the twins' cousin, who is trying to get rid of them so he can take the throne for himself.

The story revolves are three main characters who rule the island. In the first two seasons the characters of Brady and Boomer were the co-rulers of the island. These two twins were raised in Chicago by their aunt and uncle. They learn of their right to rule the island of Kinkow when the royal advisor finds them in Chicago. The royal advisor's name is Mason, and he is a recurring character. Another king emerges in season three to replace one of the departing cast members. According to the plot, there is a third brother named Boz, making the twins into triplets. The next main character, and recurring villain, is Lanny. Lanny is the triplets' cousin. Lanny was next in line for the throne, until the brothers showed up. Lanny spends most of the series attempting to get rid of the brothers so he can rule the island. The final major character is Mason's daughter, Mikayla. Mikayla is Brady's love interest for the first two seasons.

In conclusion, Pair of Kings is fairly popular show for Disney. The show enjoys decent ratings and reviews. Due to the ratings and reviews this show is currently still on the air, despite on of the main cast members leaving at the end of season two.
