Ep 1. Mile High Club

In the season 5 premiere of Pawn Stars titled Mile High Club, the guys from the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop are back in action, ready to make some deals. The episode starts off with Rick, Corey, and Chumlee receiving a surprise visit from an old buddy of Rick's, who brings in an 1800s desk that supposedly belonged to the President of the Confederacy, Jefferson Davis. The desk is in rough shape, but could still be worth some serious cash if it's authentic.

Next up is a man who brings in a rare WWII bomber jacket that was worn by a member of the "Flying Tigers" squadron. The jacket is in great shape, and includes several patches and pins from the time period. The guys are immediately interested, but have to make sure they're not being taken for a ride.

Later on, a woman comes in with a painting by artist LeRoy Neiman, known for his colorful depictions of sports games and athletes. The painting in question is of the Denver Broncos, and the woman wants a pretty penny for it.

Lastly, a man comes in with a collection of vintage airline posters, including ones from Pan Am and TWA. Rick, who is an avid collector of airline memorabilia, is thrilled to see the posters, but has to haggle with the seller to get a fair price.

Throughout the episode, the guys are faced with tough decisions on whether or not to make a deal. They have to consider the condition of the items, the provenance, and whether or not they can turn a profit. As always, there are moments of humor, banter, and bickering among the staff.

If you're a fan of Pawn Stars, season 5 episode 1 is definitely worth a watch. Whether you're into historical artifacts, vintage clothing, or sports memorabilia, there's something for everyone in this episode. Plus, you get to see the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop crew in action, doing what they do best - making deals and having fun.
