Kyoko is an aspiring actress who had been in love with her childhood friend Sho, but after he betrayed her and used her as a free maid, she decides to become even more successful than he is and seeks revenge. During her journey, she meets Ren, a famous actor, who sees potential in Kyoko and decides to help her achieve her dreams.

In episode 21, Kyoko is practicing her lines for the upcoming audition when she overhears some of the other actresses talking about her. They start making fun of her and criticizing her acting skills, making Kyoko feel insecure and doubting herself. In the end, Kyoko receives news that she has been shortlisted for the role in the upcoming drama, and she is overjoyed. She goes to thank Ren for his help and expresses her gratitude towards him. Ren, who has always been cold towards Kyoko, is surprised to see her being so honest and thankful towards him, and he starts to feel differently towards her.
