Su Baek-hyang, The King's Daughter is a historical Korean drama that revolves around the story of two sisters, Su Baek-hyang and Su Baek-ryung, who are born to a family of nobles in the Goguryeo dynasty. The Baekje army is planning to invade Goguryeo, and Lady Yusu wants to use the opportunity to take revenge on her husband.

Lord Jung-hyun is tasked with guarding the border and defending against the Baekje army. However, he is betrayed by one of his own soldiers, who reveals the location of the Goguryeo army to the Baekje army. The Goguryeo army is caught off guard and is defeated in battle.

As the episode comes to an end, Lady Yusu reveals her true allegiance to King Pyeongwon and begs for forgiveness. Lord Jung-hyun is captured by the Baekje army and is taken away as a prisoner of war. Su Baek-hyang and Su Baek-ryung both witness the chaos and uncertainty of their kingdom and realize that their lives will never be the same again.
