After Sydney and Dixon successfully retrieve a container from a heavily-guarded location, they discover that it contains a woman who has been cryogenically frozen for over forty years. Their mission to keep her safe and away from those who want to harm her is made more complicated when a group of mercenaries come after her. As they try to unravel the mystery behind the woman's identity and why she was frozen, they also face personal challenges. Sydney must deal with her feelings for Vaughn after learning he may have been involved with her mother, while Dixon struggles with his loyalty to his family and his duty to the CIA. Meanwhile, Jack must confront his past and alliances as he works to help Sydney and Dixon protect the frozen woman. As the team races against the clock to keep the woman safe and figure out her connection to their mission, they discover dangerous twists and unexpected turns that will change everything they thought they knew.
