Ep 8. Passage (1)

Sydney Bristow, an agent for the CIA, returns for the second season of Alias. In season two, Sydney discovers that her mother, whom she long thought was dead, is actually a KGB double agent. She also discovers that the man she believed to be her father is not her real father. As she continues to work for the CIA, Sydney must struggle to balance her work with her personal life.

In episode eight of season two, titled "Passage (1)," Sydney is sent on a mission to stop a weapons dealer named Vuko Borozan. After Borozan's assistant is captured, Sydney goes undercover as a potential buyer to get access to Borozan. Meanwhile, Sydney's father, Jack Bristow, is also on a mission to get information about his past.

As Sydney tries to gain Borozan's trust, she discovers that there is another buyer interested in the same weapons. The other buyer turns out to be Anna Espinosa, a rogue KGB agent who has a history with Sydney. As Sydney tries to gather information on both Borozan and Anna, she also has to deal with trust issues within her own team.

Back at the CIA, Jack gets a lead on the identity of his real father. He tracks down a man named Ilya Kuryakin, who reveals that Jack's father was not a spy like he had been led to believe. Kuryakin tells Jack that his father was actually a scientist who was involved in a top-secret government project. Jack must decide whether to keep pursuing this lead or focus on his current mission.

As Sydney continues to work undercover, she runs into complications with Borozan. She discovers that he is using a shipping container to transport the weapons and plans to blow up the container if anything goes wrong. Sydney must come up with a way to stop Borozan without risking her own life or the lives of innocent bystanders.

At the same time, Sydney is also dealing with personal drama. She learns that her mother, Irina Derevko, has been released from prison and is on the run. Sydney is worried about what her mother might do or what she may know, but she also has conflicting feelings since she had believed that Irina was dead for much of her life.

As the episode comes to a close, Sydney is able to complete her mission and stop Borozan. However, she is left with more questions than answers about her past and her family. She must now navigate the complicated world of espionage while also trying to find out the truth about her own identity.
