APPARE-RANMAN! Season 1 Episode 9 Short break

In the ninth episode of season one of APPARE-RANMAN!, titled "Short break," Appare and the gang finally find some much-needed rest after a long journey. With the success of their latest race, the team is able to take a breather in a nearby town while they wait for the next race to begin.

During their short break, Hototo decides to check out the local arcade. He is quickly enthralled by a new game called "dragon hunter," where players must defeat a dragon to win a prize. Despite Appare's warning that it's probably rigged, Hototo continues to play the game, determined to win the grand prize.

Meanwhile, Kosame wanders around town and stumbles upon a group of girls practicing their dancing. One of the girls, Emma, catches Kosame's eye and he is drawn in by her graceful movements. They strike up a conversation and Kosame learns that Emma is part of a dance troupe that performs at the local theater.

As the day goes on, the rest of the gang finds their own ways to have fun and relax. Xialian and Al questions why Kosame is taking longer than usual. Appare accidentally wanders into a bathhouse for men, where he meets a friendly old man named Seikichi. And, further, Al and Xialian wanders around, and finally they found Kosame with the girls.

Eventually, it's time for the next race and the gang sets off on their way. However, Hototo is still determined to win the dragon hunter game and sneaks back into the arcade to give it one more try. When Appare realizes Hototo is missing, he immediately sets out to find him.

After some searching, Appare finds Hototo at the arcade and tries to convince him to give up on the game. But Hototo is too caught up in the challenge and refuses to listen. It's only when Appare uses his engineering skills to uncover the secrets of the game and show Hototo that it's rigged that he finally gives up.

In the end, the gang reunites and heads off to the next race together. They may have had a short break, but they're ready to continue their journey and see where it takes them.

Overall, episode nine of APPARE-RANMAN! provides a much-needed break from the intense racing action of the previous episodes. It's a chance to see the characters in a more relaxed setting and get a glimpse of their personalities beyond their roles on the racing team. With a fun arcade game subplot and a sweet romance between Kosame and Emma, this episode is a highlight of the season.
