  • Aulus returns to the castrum where Domitius confronts him. Aulus reveals to him that he serves Lokka, an omnipotent being that came before the Roman Gods. Domitius barely has time to take in this outrage before Aulus strikes.

  • As sole survivor of the druid attack on the Roman camp, a traumatised Vitus returns to the castrum with a message for Aulus from the Dead Man. Aulus rides away, leaving Vitus in charge.

  • Philo and Brutus, deserters from the Roman Army in Season One, are enjoying their freedom and deepening their knowledge of psychedelics.

  • Divis has a very awkward dream that causes tension in his relationship with Cait, in the midst of their preparations for the Trial of Water.

  • Hella pays Aulus a bold visit with an offer she knows he won't be able to resist. After paying Hella dearly in silver, Aulus gets hold of information to lead him to the Chosen One.

  • In animated flashback, we learn Harka and Veran are brothers and see them playing together as young boys in a natural paradise. But Harka is unhappy and ends up killed by a snake, believing Veran betrayed him.
