Ep 6. Shark Lagoon

Four talented bakers from all over the United States compete to create the most impressive and delicious cakes on this season of Cake Wars. In each episode, the bakers are given a unique challenge, from designing cakes inspired by animated characters to creating cakes for a camping trip. In season 3 episode 6, titled "Shark Lagoon," the challenge is to create cakes inspired by the ocean and its creatures, specifically sharks.

The episode begins with host Jonathan Bennett introducing the four bakers, who are all excited and ready to get started on their cakes. The first challenge is a flash challenge, where the bakers must create a cupcake version of their cake design in just 30 minutes. The bakers scurry to grab their ingredients and get to work, as they know that this challenge could give them an advantage going into the main competition.

After the flash challenge, the bakers are given two hours to create their full-sized cakes. They start by sketching out their designs and deciding on the different elements that will make up their cake. Some bakers choose to focus on the sharks themselves, while others incorporate coral reefs or other sea creatures into their designs.

As the bakers start to assemble their cakes, the judges arrive to see how things are progressing. The judges for this episode are pastry chef Waylynn Lucas and shark expert Chris Lowe. Chris is particularly excited to see how the bakers incorporate scientific facts about sharks into their designs.

As the clock ticks down, the bakers start to feel the pressure of the competition. They realize that they only have a limited amount of time to complete their cakes and make them look as impressive as possible. Some bakers struggle with certain elements of their design, while others seem to be right on track.

Finally, the time is up and the bakers present their cakes to the judges. The judges are impressed with the creativity and skill shown by all the bakers, but there are also some clear standouts. One baker decides to include a live shark in their presentation, which is both impressive and nerve-wracking for everyone involved.

After much deliberation, the judges make their final decision and announce the winner of Shark Lagoon. The winner will not only receive bragging rights, but also a $10,000 prize. The other bakers are disappointed, but they know that the competition was stiff and that they'll have another chance to prove themselves in future episodes of Cake Wars.
