Ep 3. Pretzel-a, Queen Of Dessert

In season 7 episode 3 of Carnival Eats - "Pretzel-a, Queen Of Dessert," host and carnival food expert Noah Cappe travels to the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania's Musikfest to sample all the unique and mouthwatering carnival eats the festival has to offer.

Noah begins his food journey at the Ultimate Fry Bar stand, where he tastes the massive Texas tater tornado, a spiral-cut potato on a skewer that's deep-fried and served with a variety of dipping sauces. Next, he stops at the Apple Dumpling stand to try their signature dessert, made with fresh-picked apples, cinnamon, and caramel wrapped in a flaky crust and topped with ice cream.

Moving on to the Queen of Desserts, Noah visits the Pretzel-a stand to meet the owner, who has turned pretzels into a sweet delicacy. The owner gives Noah a tour of her store and shows him how she creates a wide selection of desserts, including pretzel-based ice cream sandwiches, chocolate-covered pretzels, and even pretzel pizza.

Noah's next stop is at the Goatocado stand, where he samples their unique take on carnival food with their avocado-infused Salsarrito, a burrito stuffed with fresh guacamole, black beans, and salsa verde. After enjoying his hearty Salsarrito, Noah visits The Flying Pie Guy stand to try their Aussie meat pies, a savory handheld feast filled with beef, veggies, and gravy.

For lunch, Noah tastes the incredible Bacon Mac and Cheese Quesadilla from the Bacon Nation stand, a handheld snack that combines two classic comfort foods into one mouth-watering dish. Then, he heads to the Pierogies Plus stand to sample their best-selling cheddar and potato pierogies, served with fried onions and a dollop of sour cream.

Noah wraps up his food journey at the Bethlehem Dairy Store, where he samples their classic ice cream flavors like black raspberry and peanut butter and chocolate chunk, as well as their unique President's Blend, a combination of mocha ice cream and cookies.
