In the season 8 premiere of Carnival Eats, host Noah Cappe travels to the Great Lakes State of Michigan, where he visits the Jackson County Fair. The episode is titled Grillers In The Mist, and it showcases some of the most unique grilled foods found at fairs and carnivals across the country.

The episode starts off with Noah heading to the grill at the fair, where he meets up with Steven and Mark, two grill masters who specialize in cooking up some of the best meat in the business. They show Noah some of their signature dishes such as the "Porkinator," which is a massive pork chop that is grilled to perfection and is served on a bed of homemade mashed potatoes. The Porkinator is famous in the area and is a must-try for anyone visiting the fair.

Next, Noah stops by the "Racing Pigs" booth, where he watches as pigs race around a track and competes against each other. After the pig race, Noah gets to try some of the amazing grilled food at the booth, including the "Porkypine," which is a grilled pork loin that is coated in a special spicy rub and then cooked over an open flame until it's tender and juicy. The Porkypine is served with a side of root beer, which pairs perfectly with the spicy flavors of the rub.

Noah then heads to the "Porky Fries" booth, where he tastes some of the best fries he's ever had. The fries are hand-cut and cooked in a special blend of oil that is infused with pork fat, which gives them an extra-special flavor. They're served with a homemade spicy ketchup that is made with fresh herbs and spices. Noah also tries the "Pork Belly BLT," which is a sandwich that is made with thick slices of grilled pork belly, fresh lettuce, and tomatoes, served on a toasted bun.

Next up, Noah visits the "Smokey Cheese Shack," where he tastes some of the best cheese he's ever had. The cheese is smoked on-site and is made with a blend of different types of cheese, including cheddar, gouda, and mozzarella. Noah tries the "Cheese Curds," which are deep-fried until crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, and the "Smoked Cheesy Poppers," which are stuffed with bacon and cream cheese and smoked for extra flavor.

Noah also stops by the "Crazy Corn" booth, where he tries the "Mexican Street Corn," which is covered in a spicy aioli sauce and then topped with crumbled cotija cheese and fresh cilantro. Noah also tries the "Cajun Corn," which is coated in a blend of cajun spices and then grilled to perfection.

Finally, Noah visits the "Grill Nation" booth, where he meets up with grill master Chris, who shows him some amazing grilled dishes. Noah tries the "Brisket Mac and Cheese," which is a combination of slow-cooked brisket and creamy mac and cheese, and the "Smoked BBQ Wings," which are smoked until they're crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Overall, Grillers In The Mist is an amazing episode of Carnival Eats that showcases some of the best grilled food found at fairs and carnivals across the country. With its unique blend of flavors and spices, this episode is sure to be a hit with foodies and carnival enthusiasts alike.
