Ep 2. Antinomy

Meanwhile, the priests of Nil Kamui are trying to summon a powerful dragon known as Black Dragon in order to defeat the Red Dragon and take control of the territory. The priests believe that the only way to summon the Black Dragon is to offer blood sacrifices, so they begin kidnapping people from the refugee camps and using them as sacrifices.

Ibuki and his team become aware of the priests' actions and decide to intervene. They manage to rescue some of the prisoners, but they are too late to save all of them. The remaining hostages are killed in a ritualistic sacrifice that successfully summons the Black Dragon.

As the Red Dragon and Ibuki prepare to meet, a third dragon arrives on the scene. This dragon, known as the White Dragon, is said to be impartial in the conflict between the Red and Black Dragons. The White Dragon claims to have a message for Ibuki, but it is not clear what this message is.

The episode ends with Ibuki and the Red Dragon meeting face to face for the first time. The two dragons engage in a tense conversation in which they try to determine whether or not they can trust each other. Over the course of the conversation, both Ibuki and the Red Dragon reveal some of their past traumas and motivations, giving the audience a deeper understanding of their characters.
