Ep 2. Angels in Vegas (2)

Charlie’s Angels is an American action-crime television series that aired on ABC from 1976 to 1981. The show follows the adventures of three female private investigators: Sabrina Duncan (played by Kate Jackson), Jill Munroe (played by Farrah Fawcett), and Kelly Garrett (played by Jaclyn Smith). In season 3 episode 2, titled “Angels in Vegas (2),” the Angels are called to Las Vegas to investigate a group of jewel thieves.

At the beginning of the episode, we see the Angels on a private jet flying over the desert to Las Vegas. The Angels split up to gather information on the suspects. Jill poses as a customer at the Tropicana’s jewelry store and strikes up a conversation with the store manager. Kelly goes undercover as a cocktail waitress at the casino and befriends a casino employee who may have information on the robbers. Sabrina, meanwhile, goes to the local pawn shops to see if anyone has been trying to sell any stolen jewelry.

As the Angels gather information, they begin to piece together the identity of the robbers. They discover that the gang is led by a man known only as “The Boss” and that he has a lover named Monique (played by Shelley Hack). Monique is a former showgirl at the Tropicana, and the Angels believe that she may be helping the gang by providing them with insider information.

The Angels decide to set a trap for the robbers by putting a fake diamond on display in the Tropicana’s jewelry store. They hope that the robbers will take the bait and attempt to steal the fake diamond, and they can catch them in the act. The plan works, and the Angels spring into action to stop the robbers.

The Angels engage in a thrilling chase through the casino, dodging security guards and leaping over slot machines. In the end, they manage to capture The Boss and his henchmen and recover the stolen diamonds. Monique, who had a change of heart, helps the Angels in the final confrontation.

The episode ends with the Angels back on their private jet, heading back to Los Angeles. They reflect on the case and how they were able to catch the robbers with their teamwork and quick thinking. The episode is a classic example of the show’s blend of action, mystery, and glamour, and is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.
