Ep 1. Non Est Asylum

John Constantine, a British exorcist and occult detective, has been in a mental institution for several months after a failed exorcism in Newcastle resulted in the death of a young girl, Astra. During his time at the institution, he becomes aware of a woman named Liv Aberdine, who possesses the same abilities as Astra. Constantine escapes the institution with the help of his friend, Chas, and sets out to find Liv before she is caught by a powerful evil force called "The Rising Darkness."

Constantine discovers that Liv is in Atlanta, and heads there to find her. With the help of a skeptical detective named Jim Corrigan, Constantine is able to locate Liv and save her from a supernatural attack. Liv is hesitant to trust Constantine, but he manages to convince her to help him stop the forces of darkness from unleashing hell on Earth.

As Constantine and Liv investigate a series of strange occurrences around Atlanta, they are beset by demonic forces and other dark entities. They are joined by Zed Martin, a mysterious woman with her own connection to the supernatural world. Together, they discover that The Rising Darkness is a powerful entity that seeks to merge the human and supernatural realms, using Liv as a catalyst.

Constantine, Liv, and Zed must act quickly to stop The Rising Darkness before it is too late. With the help of Corrigan, they are able to track down the source of the evil and engage in a final battle with the demon responsible for the merging of the realms. In the end, they are successful in thwarting The Rising Darkness, but at a great cost.
