The Ballad of Nick & Kat is the eleventh episode of the first season of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. Meanwhile, back in the United States, Jack's wife Karen receives a frightening phone call that puts their family at risk. Jack is forced to make a difficult decision about where his loyalties lie, and the consequences could be deadly.
As the IRT works tirelessly to locate Nick and Kat and bring the perpetrators to justice, they are forced to confront their own fears and biases. The team learns to rely on each other and their unique skills as they race against the clock to save two innocent lives and put an end to a heinous crime ring.
