Dennis's Hiccups; Nanny State - In the first half of the episode, Dennis gets a case of the hiccups that just won't go away. He tries everything he can think of to get rid of them, but nothing seems to work. His persistent hiccups become a source of annoyance and amusement for his friends and family, but Dennis is determined to find a cure. With a little creativity and some help from his friends, he just might be able to finally get rid of those pesky hiccups.

In the second half of the episode, the gang is at the park having a great time when they meet a new kid named Wally. Wally's mom is extremely overprotective, and she won't let Wally do anything fun or exciting. She's constantly hovering over him and telling him what to do and what not to do. The gang soon realizes that Wally is miserable, and they want to help him break free from his overbearing mother's grasp.

Dennis and the gang come up with a plan to sneak Wally out of the house and have a big adventure. They grab their skateboards and head off to explore the city, but they soon realize that Wally's mom has caught onto their plan. She's hot on their heels, chasing them down and trying to bring Wally back home. Dennis and his friends must use all of their wit and cunning to outsmart Wally's mom and give him the adventure of a lifetime.

Throughout the episode, the theme of independence versus overprotection is explored, as Wally struggles to break free from his mother's overbearing ways. The gang also learns valuable lessons about teamwork and creativity as they work together to solve Dennis's hiccup problem and help Wally find the freedom he so desperately desires. With plenty of laughs and heartwarming moments, this episode is sure to be a hit with viewers of all ages.
