In the end, the chase comes to an epic conclusion, with Dennis and his friends escaping unscathed, but not without a valuable lesson learnt. They realize that it is always better to ask nicely than to try and take something without permission. The episode ends with Dennis finally finding his lucky boots, which had been under Gnasher's bed the whole time.
