In the second episode of the fourteenth season of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, host Guy Fieri travels to various locations across the United States to sample some of the best streamlined sandwiches. Beginning in Kansas City, Missouri, Guy visits a popular joint where he tries a sandwich stacked with crispy fried chicken, bacon, and spicy jalapeño aioli.

Finally, Guy returns to San Francisco to explore a food truck that specializes in Asian-inspired sandwiches. Here he tries a sandwich that's filled with tender braised pork, pickled vegetables, and fresh herbs, all served in a fluffy and steamed bun.
