Guy Fieri takes viewers on a culinary journey through some of the best Italian restaurants in America in the second episode of the 2007 season of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. From San Marino, California to St. Louis, Missouri, Guy visits family-owned eateries that have been serving up authentic Italian cuisine for decades.

The episode starts with a visit to La Bella's in San Marino, where Guy samples their signature dish, the lasagna. The restaurant has been around since 1960 and is known for using homemade noodles and sauce. Guy also tries their fettuccine alfredo, which he describes as "like silk in your mouth."

Next, Guy heads to St. Louis to visit Mama Toscano's, a neighborhood restaurant that has been in business for over 70 years. The restaurant is run by Lou and Mary Toscano, who took over the business from Lou's parents. Guy tries their popular toasted ravioli, which is a St. Louis specialty, along with their spaghetti and meatballs and homemade cannoli.

In Providence, Rhode Island, Guy visits Constantino's Venda Ravioli, a family-owned Italian market that has been in business since 1947. The market is known for its fresh pasta, which is made daily in house. Guy samples their gnocchi and the chicken parmigiana, which is made with breaded chicken cutlets, fresh mozzarella, and homemade tomato sauce.

Guy then travels to Portland, Oregon to visit Porcelli's, a deli and catering company that specializes in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant is run by husband and wife team Dario and Tina Porcelli, who take pride in using only the freshest ingredients in their dishes. Guy tries their Italian Dip sandwich, which is made with roast beef, provolone cheese, and served with au jus sauce for dipping.

The episode finishes with a visit to Jimmy's Food Store in Dallas, Texas. Jimmy's has been a fixture in the city for over 50 years and is known for its Italian meats and cheeses. Guy tries their homemade sausages, which come in a variety of flavors, including spicy Italian and fennel. He also tries their signature sandwich, the Godfather, which is made with salami, ham, provolone cheese, and roasted red peppers.

Overall, "That's Italian" is a mouth-watering episode that showcases some of the best Italian cuisine America has to offer.
