Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives Season 2010 Episode 28 Wings, Dogs and Claws

In this episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, host Guy Fieri takes viewers on a culinary journey to explore the world of wings, dogs, and claws.

The first stop on the tour is in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where Guy visits a popular wing joint called Al's Burger Shack. There, he tries some of the best chicken wings in the area, including the Sweet Potato Habanero and the Jerk Wings. Guy also gets a chance to chat with Al, the restaurant's owner, about what makes his wings so special.

Next, Guy heads to Chandler, Arizona, to check out a hot dog spot called Ted's Hot Dogs. Ted's has been around for over 90 years, and is famous for its char-grilled hot dogs and homemade sauces. Guy tries the classic hot dog with Ted's famous hot sauce, as well as the "Poor Man's Steak," a hot dog covered in cheese, onions, and hot sauce.

In the third segment of the show, Guy travels to La Porte, Texas, to visit a seafood market and restaurant called Topwater Grill. There, he tries a variety of seafood dishes, including the Snow Crab Claws, which are crispy-fried and served with a Cajun dipping sauce. He also samples the restaurant's famous Seafood Gumbo, made with fresh seafood and a rich roux.

Finally, Guy ends his journey in San Antonio, Texas, at a restaurant called Simi's India Cuisine. Simi's is known for its authentic Indian food, and Guy dives into some of the restaurant's signature dishes, including the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lamb Vindaloo. Guy also learns about the spices and techniques used in Indian cooking, and gets a chance to chat with the restaurant's owner.

Throughout the episode, viewers get a taste of some of the best wings, hot dogs, seafood, and Indian cuisine that the United States has to offer. Guy's excitement and passion for food is infectious, and his visits to each restaurant are filled with laughter, conversation, and of course, delicious food.
