The episode begins in New York City at a bakery that has been serving up classic Jewish-style baked goods for over 75 years. Fieri samples their famous rugelach and learns the secrets to making this popular pastry. Next, he heads to a Southern-style restaurant in Chattanooga, Tennessee that is serving up a unique twist on a traditional breakfast dish - chicken and waffles with hot sauce and honey butter.

Fieri then travels to a Chicago diner that has been around since 1945 and is known for their traditional and hearty breakfast dishes. He tries their famous corned beef hash and eggs and learns about the history of the restaurant from the owner.

Next, Fieri heads to a Vietnamese restaurant in Washington, D.C. that is putting a twist on classic pho soup by using ingredients like beef rib and pork belly. He also samples their pork and shrimp spring rolls and learns about the history of the restaurant from the owner.

Fieri then travels to a Mexican restaurant in St. Paul, Minnesota that is known for their authentic and delicious tacos. He samples their house-made chorizo taco and learns about the importance of family in their business.

Finally, Fieri heads to a barbecue restaurant in Dallas, Texas that is putting a twist on traditional Southern-style barbecue by using unique ingredients like duck and oxtail. He samples their popular brisket and learns about the history of the restaurant from the owner.

Throughout the episode, Fieri chats with the owners and chefs of each restaurant to learn about their unique twists on classic dishes and the traditions that inspired them. He also explores the history and culture of each city, showcasing the diversity and creativity of the American food scene.
