In season 7 episode 11 of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," host Guy Fieri sets out on a culinary adventure to explore family-style dining across America. In this episode, Fieri visits eateries that are perfect for large groups and family gatherings, where the dishes are meant to be shared and enjoyed together.

The first stop on Fieri's journey is in Los Angeles, where he visits a bustling Mexican restaurant that has been a staple in the community for over 50 years. The family-owned business makes all their dishes from scratch using traditional methods and fresh ingredients. Fieri gets to sample some of their signature dishes like tender beef short ribs and grilled cactus, all served family-style.

Next, Fieri heads to a soul food restaurant in Memphis that has been serving up hearty comfort food for over 30 years. The restaurant is known for its fried chicken but also serves up other favorites like mac and cheese, collard greens, and cornbread. Fieri not only gets to taste some of the best soul food in Tennessee but also learns about the restaurant's history and the family behind it.

In Chicago, Fieri visits a cozy Italian restaurant that has been serving homemade pasta and classic Italian dishes for four generations. The family takes great pride in their food, and you can taste it in every bite. Fieri gets to try some of the restaurant's signature dishes, like their homemade gnocchi and meatballs.

Fieri also makes a stop in San Diego, at a family-owned and operated Filipino restaurant. The restaurant specializes in classic Filipino dishes like adobo and lumpia, but they also infuse their menu with flavors from other cultures. Fieri gets to sample some of their unique creations like a taco made with crispy adobo chicken and a lumpia burrito.

Finally, Fieri heads to New Orleans, where he visits a Creole restaurant that has been serving up authentic Creole cuisine for almost 20 years. The restaurant is known for its gumbo and other seafood dishes, and Fieri gets to try them all. The family behind the restaurant shares their love for New Orleans culture and cuisine with Fieri, and he leaves feeling like he's part of their family.

Throughout the episode, Fieri not only gets to try some of the best family-style restaurants in America but also gets to meet the families behind them. He learns about their history, their passion for food, and the traditions that make their restaurants so special. "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" season 7 episode 11 is a celebration of family, community, and of course, delicious food.
