In his bid to unravel the mystery surrounding his family and his current situation, he is aided by his classmate and friend, Satoshi Hiwatari, who possesses similar traits and is determined to uncover the truth. Along with them is Dark's partner, a cute and mischievous entity named Wiz, who guides Daisuke when he transforms into Dark.
