Ep 6. Let's Go Hunting, Deer

In Duck Dynasty season 3 episode 6, titled "Let's Go Hunting, Deer," the Robertson family is getting ready for hunting season, and they're all excited to head out into the woods to hunt deer. Willie decides to take matters into his own hands and devises a plan to try and flush the deer out by using some unconventional hunting techniques. He puts together a deer decoy made out of old clothes and starts to make sounds like a doe in heat, hoping to lure in a big buck.

While Willie is busy trying to catch their quarry, Uncle Si and Jase get into a friendly competition to see who can catch the most fish from a nearby creek. They each try to outdo the other, but in the end, they both catch enough fish to feed the whole family.

As the sun starts to set, the guys start to give up hope of catching any deer and start to pack up their gear. However, just as they're about to leave, they hear a rustling in the woods. They freeze, waiting to see if it's a deer, and after a few tense moments, they see a big buck emerge from the woods. Willie takes aim and fires, and after a few anxious moments, they realize they've bagged their quarry.

The guys are ecstatic and take turns posing for photos with the deer. They load up the truck and head back to the family compound, where Phil and Kay have prepared a delicious feast featuring the first fruits of the hunting season.
