But things don't go quite as planned when they can't seem to catch any fish at all. Franklin's dad teaches him the art of patience and perseverance, and they soon discover the joy of simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings and spending quality time with each other. As they pack up to head back home, they come across a group of otters who are having better luck fishing than they were. Will Franklin and his dad be able to snag a fish after all, or will they have to settle for a different meal?

Both adventures in this episode of Franklin and Friends teach valuable lessons about creativity, adaptability, and the importance of family and friends.
