Ep 11. Behemoth Awakening

As Sousuke and Kaname prepare to attend a beach party, they receive a priority mission from Mithril. They are to infiltrate a north Korean base, which has been ceded to terrorists, and stop them from using an experimental weapon of immense power. The weapon is a submarine vessel known as the Behemoth, which has the capability to launch an orb of pure energy to destroy any target in its path. Sousuke is tasked with destroying the submarine, while Kaname must keep the terrorists from using it.

As the duo approach the base, they encounter several hostile guards and engage them in a firefight. Despite being outnumbered, Sousuke's incredible combat abilities and Kaname's quick thinking allow them to take down the guards and infiltrate the base. Meanwhile, the Behemoth is under the control of a mentally unstable North Korean commander who is hellbent on using the weapon to destroy his enemies.

Sousuke and Kaname split up to carry out their respective tasks. Sousuke fights his way through the base, taking out any terrorists he encounters, while Kaname faces off against the North Korean commander. As she tries to prevent the commander from launching the Behemoth, she is captured and taken hostage.

Sousuke manages to destroy the Behemoth just in time, but not before it launches its deadly orb of energy. As the orb hurtles towards its target, the Mithril submarine TDD-1 arrives on the scene and intercepts the orb. The orb explodes on impact, leaving the TDD-1 heavily damaged.

Sousuke rescues Kaname, and they escape the base just before it is destroyed in a massive explosion. The mission is successful, but at a great cost. The TDD-1 is heavily damaged, and the crew must work tirelessly to repair it. Sousuke and Kaname return to their beach party, but their minds are still on the events that transpired.

The episode ends with a somber tone, as the characters reflect on the harsh realities of war and the sacrifices required to protect their world. As always, the show manages to balance its action-packed sequences with moments of heartfelt introspection, making it a standout episode in an already excellent season.
