Gakuen Alice Season 1 Episode 10 So happy. Central Town

In Gakuen Alice season 1 episode 10 titled "So happy. Central Town," we see Mikan and Hotaru traveling to Central Town, a lively and bustling area where Mikan wants to buy a Christmas present for Natsume. As they walk through the town, they come across a street vendor selling magical ornaments that grant wishes. Mikan buys one and wishes for Natsume to be happy.

Meanwhile, Natsume is dealing with his own struggles. He receives a letter from his father, who wants him to return home and continue the family's criminal business. Natsume is torn between his loyalty to his family and his desire to stay at the academy with his friends.

Back in Central Town, Mikan and Hotaru run into Ruka, who is also doing some Christmas shopping. They go to a cafe together and enjoy some hot chocolate. Mikan notices that Ruka seems down and asks him what's wrong. He confides in her that he's worried about Natsume and his father's pressure on him to return home.

Later, Mikan and Hotaru run into the class representative, Nonoko, who is also doing some shopping. Nonoko shows them a toy she bought for her younger brother and explains how happy it makes her to see him smile. This inspires Mikan to try and bring some joy into Natsume's life.

Meanwhile, Natsume is approached by some of his old acquaintances, who try to persuade him to leave the academy and join their criminal organization. Natsume successfully fends them off, but the encounter leaves him shaken.

As the day wears on, Mikan and Hotaru continue to shop. Mikan grows increasingly worried about Natsume and decides to make him a present. She buys some supplies and starts to put together a photo album of their times together at the academy. She wants to remind Natsume of all the good times they've shared and how much he means to her.

The episode ends with Mikan and Hotaru returning to the academy, where they find Natsume waiting for them. He's surprised to see Mikan carrying a bag of supplies, but Mikan tells him it's a surprise and that she'll show him later. The three of them walk back to the dormitories together, with Mikan and Hotaru feeling happy to have spent the day exploring Central Town and hoping that their presents will make Natsume feel better.
