Ep 19. Tempest

In Garo: The Animation season 1 episode 19 titled "Tempest," we see the ever-growing conflict between the Makai Knights and the Makai Priests. The episode opens up with Herman, a Makai Priest, being chased down by an unknown assailant and then we see another Makai Priest named Ema leaving to investigate this matter.

Meanwhile, Leon, the main protagonist, along with Alfonso, the Prince of Valiante, sets out to hone their Makai Knight skills by training in the mountains. There they encounter a fierce storm that forces them to take shelter in a nearby cave. As they try to navigate through the cavern, they encounter more unexpected surprises and it becomes a test of their strength and teamwork.

Back in the city, Ema meets Herman and warns him about the danger he is in. She reveals that a group called the Makai Order is after him, as he holds valuable knowledge about the Makai world that they seek to obtain. To protect Herman, Ema calls upon the help of another Makai Knight, meanwhile, her investigation into the Makai Order continues.

As the storm in the mountains rages on, Leon and Alfonso finally find their way out of the cave and reach a clearing where they encounter a group of mysterious warriors. These warriors turn out to be Masters of the Wind, who were once disciples of Makai Priest Amon. They try to teach Leon and Alfonso the art of wielding the Wind blade. The Wind Blade is a form of Makai Knight's weapon that harnesses the power of wind and air.

Towards the end of the episode, we see Ema and Herman's protector arrive at a remote location to confront the Makai Order. A fierce battle ensues as they both try to get their hands on Herman. Meanwhile, Leon and Alfonso continue to battle the Masters of the Wind, but soon realize that they are no match for their power. It is then revealed that Makai Priest Amon once taught these Masters of the Wind and they are now under the control of the Makai Order.

With the Makai Knights and Priests facing multiple battles across different parts of their world, they must come together and strengthen their bond to win the war against the Makai Order. The episode ends with Leon and Alfonso being trapped in the Wind Master's powerful vortex, leaving uncertainty about their fate.
