Ep 7. Edinburgh Vaults - Edinburgh, Scotland

The seventh episode of the first season of Ghost Adventures takes the team to the Edinburgh Vaults in Edinburgh, Scotland. As Zak Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin make their way through the underground vaults, they investigate claims of paranormal activity and attempt to communicate with any spirits that may still be lingering in the dark and eerie tunnels.

The Edinburgh Vaults, also known as the South Bridge Vaults, were built in the 18th century and were originally used as storage space for businesses and shops. Over time, they were abandoned and forgotten, and eventually became a haven for criminals, prostitutes, and the homeless. Many of the people who lived in the vaults suffered from poverty and disease, and some were even rumored to have resorted to cannibalism in order to survive.

As Zak, Nick, and Aaron explore the vaults, they begin to feel a sense of unease and are quickly met with eerie phenomena such as cold spots, strange noises, and even a moving shadow that appears to follow them throughout their investigation. They also come across several rooms that are said to have been used for séances and other occult rituals, leading them to suspect that perhaps the vaults have attracted negative energy over the years.

Throughout the episode, the team uses a variety of tools and techniques to attempt to communicate with any spirits that may be present, including a Ouija board and an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) recorder. They are able to capture several instances of unexplained noises and voices, which they interpret as evidence of paranormal activity.

In addition to their investigation of the vaults themselves, Zak, Nick, and Aaron also speak with local experts and historians in an attempt to uncover the history of the area and the possible reasons behind the reported hauntings. They learn about the harsh conditions that many of the people who lived in the vaults faced, and speculate that perhaps the negativity and suffering that occurred in the area has manifested itself in the form of paranormal activity.

As the investigation comes to a close, the team is left with more questions than answers about the true nature of the paranormal activity in the Edinburgh Vaults. However, their experiences in the underground tunnels have left them with a sense of respect and reverence for the history and hardships that took place there. The episode serves as a reminder that even the darkest and most forgotten places can hold a powerful energy and history that is worth exploring.
