The group’s leader, Ryūta, challenges Ichiko to a game of beach volleyball, with the winner getting to decide the fate of the loser. Ichiko is an experienced player, and her good fortune gives her a significant advantage. However, Momiji has enhanced Ryūta’s abilities with her powers, and he proves to be more than a match for Ichiko.

As the game progresses, Ichiko becomes more and more aware of how her good fortune has made her selfish and inconsiderate. She realizes that her good luck has caused her to take everything and everyone for granted, and that the happiness she has gained from her fortune is in fact, fleeting. With this newfound awareness, Ichiko starts to change her behavior and becomes more empathetic towards her classmates.
