Ep 5. Anything for You

As the title suggest, on this fifth episode of the third season of Gotham "Anything for You", the characters of the show continue to make questionable decisions to protect the ones they love. Beginning with Butch Gilzean, who is still under the control of the Penguin after having his mind erased and subsequently renamed "Solomon Grundy". Penguin uses this to his advantage and demands Grundy go after his former right-hand man, Ed Nygma, to make sure he doesn't spill any of Penguin's secrets.

Meanwhile, Nygma is trying to broker a deal with Barbara Kean and Tabitha Galavan to help him steal from the Penguin. Though hesitant at first, they eventually agree when Nygma promises to help them gain control of Gotham's underworld. But when Grundy shows up to take Nygma out, everything goes sideways.

At the same time, Jim Gordon is struggling to keep control of the GCPD. The Mad Hatter is still on the loose and leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. Gordon recruits the help of Jervis Tetch's sister, Alice, as he believes she may hold the key to stopping her brother once and for all. But when Alice's condition takes a turn for the worse, Gordon must decide just how far he is willing to go to save her.

Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne and Alfred are doing their own investigating into the Waynes' past, which leads them to a mysterious door in Wayne Manor. The door proves to be a difficult obstacle to overcome, but when Alfred's life is put in danger, Bruce is determined to uncover the secrets behind the door no matter the cost.

Overall, the episode "Anything for You" is full of high stakes, tense moments, and plenty of drama. Viewers will find themselves on the edge of their seat as the characters they've come to know and love continue to make life-changing decisions in the name of love and loyalty.
