As they settle into their lives in Atlanta, the cast of Growing Up Hip Hop continue to grapple with the challenges of making a name for themselves in the music industry while also navigating their personal relationships.

In episode 2, titled "Don't Be Salty," tensions rise between Bow Wow and his ex-girlfriend Kiyomi Leslie as they both attend the same party. Bow Wow struggles to keep his cool as Kiyomi flaunts her new relationship in front of him, leading to a heated confrontation between the two.

Meanwhile, Da Brat faces her own relationship issues as she is forced to confront her girlfriend Jesseca "Judy" Dupart about her reluctance to be public with their relationship. Elsewhere, Romeo Miller is feeling the weight of his family's expectations as he grapples with the fallout from his decision to leave the hip hop world behind and pursue a career in acting. As he deals with his own insecurities, Romeo must also face the reality that his father Master P is not pleased with his new path.

Other cast members also face their own challenges in the episode, from Ayana and her husband's struggles to start a family to Egypt's efforts to prove herself as a legitimate artist in the music industry. As everyone deals with their own obstacles and tries to make their mark on the industry, tensions continue to simmer and threaten to boil over at any moment.
