The Needs of Many focuses on two key storylines, each filled with tension that's brought to a head in the episode's final moments. The first follows Noah Bennet as he tries to bring down the Renautas corporation and discover what happened to Mohinder Suresh. Meanwhile, the other heroes try to evade capture and overcome their own personal struggles.

Bennet, played by Jack Coleman, is an HRG agent desperate to save the world. His son has been abducted, and in order to find him, he must dive into the deepest depths of the Renautas corporation. But what he discovers is much more sinister than he ever could have imagined.

As Bennet navigates his way through the labyrinthine corridors of the Renautas facility, Bandeira, played by Cristine Rose, makes her return. Still evil as ever, she tries to convince Bennet that she's the good guy and he's the villain. But Bennet knows better and proceeds to gather evidence of the corporation's misdeeds.

As he gets closer to the truth, however, he finds himself caught in a deadly trap. Renautas is not to be trifled with, and as Bennet soon discovers, their resources are seemingly infinite.

Meanwhile, the rest of the heroes continue their quest to evade capture and stay alive. Luke Collins, played by Zachary Levi, is consumed with rage after his wife is killed at the end of the previous episode. He struggles to keep his power in check as he deals with the overwhelming grief of losing the one person who ever truly understood him.

Meanwhile, new characters emerge. Miko Otomo, played by Kiki Sukezane, is a warrior princess of sorts. She's on a mission to find her father and will stop at nothing to achieve her goal. Meanwhile, Tommy Clark, played by Robbie Kay, becomes a central figure in the show, displaying powers that are still very much a mystery.

The action is non-stop in The Needs of Many, and as the heroes and villains converge, it becomes clear that the stakes have never been higher. With Bennet trapped, Collins consumed with rage, and even those who thought they were safe discovering that they are anything but, this episode is a nail-biting thrill ride from start to finish.

Fans of the original Heroes series will be thrilled to see familiar faces in this episode, including Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura and Greg Grunberg as Matt Parkman. But this is not a mere nostalgia trip. Heroes Reborn stands tall as its own entity, with new characters and storylines that are every bit as engaging as the first go-round.

Ultimately, The Needs of Many delivers on all fronts. It's a well-paced, tightly-written episode that leaves the viewer wanting more. With the knowledge that there are still six episodes left, it's easy to see why fans of this show are so excited about the future. This is a series that has found its footing and is poised to deliver some truly epic television.
