In "Heroes" season 3 episode 22, titled "Turn and Face the Stranger," the storylines of several different characters begin to converge as they all face critical decisions and dangerous situations.
Claire (Hayden Panettiere) is dealing with the aftermath of her kidnapping by Sylar (Zachary Quinto), and her attempts to keep her powers a secret from her college roommate lead to unexpected consequences. Meanwhile, Sylar himself is on a quest to find his father, and his journey leads him down a dark path.
Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) is still struggling with his newfound ability to absorb the powers of others, and finds himself at odds with his father (Robert Forster) over the best way to use his abilities. Nathan (Adrian Pasdar), still struggling with his role in a government conspiracy, must make a difficult choice that could change the course of his life and his family.
Hiro (Masi Oka) is still trapped in ancient Japan, where he must deal with a newfound ally who has her own agenda. But as he and Ando (James Kyson Lee) try to find their way back to the present day, they must also confront an old enemy who has been waiting for them.
Meanwhile, Mohinder (Sendhil Ramamurthy) makes a stunning discovery about his own powers and his family's past, which sets off a chain reaction that could have catastrophic consequences for everyone involved.
As the episode builds to a dramatic climax, the various storylines collide in unexpected ways, leading to a shocking finale that leaves many of the characters' fates hanging in the balance.
With its complex characters, intricate plotlines, and thrilling action sequences, "Turn and Face the Stranger" is a standout episode of "Heroes" that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
