In season 4, episode 10 of Hollywood Game Night, titled "If It Ain't Burke, Don't Fix It," host Jane Lynch is joined by a variety of celebrity guests for another exciting night of party games and hilarious banter. The episode features three teams of contestants, each led by a celebrity captain, as they compete in a variety of fast-paced games designed to test their knowledge, wit, and ability to think on their feet.
The first game of the night is "Take the Hint," in which the teams must guess a secret word based on the clues given by their captain. The catch? The captain can only use one-word hints, and the other team members can only use gestures and facial expressions to communicate their guesses. The game quickly devolves into a chaotic flurry of shouting, laughing, and wild gesticulating as the teams try to out-guess each other.
Next up is "Clue-Boom," a fast-paced word-guessing game that requires the teams to work together to uncover a mystery phrase hidden inside a series of interconnected clues. Each team takes turns selecting a letter from a set of 16 available choices, with each correct guess revealing one or more letters in the hidden phrase. The first team to correctly guess the phrase wins the round.
After a brief interlude in which the contestants engage in some lighthearted conversation and trash-talking, it's time for "Pictionary Night," a celebrity twist on the classic drawing game. In this version of the game, the teams take turns selecting a card and then drawing a picture based on the prompt, with the other team members guessing what the drawing is supposed to represent. The catch? The celebrity captains have to draw while wearing a pair of absurdly oversized gloves, making it much more challenging to create any recognizable images.
The final game of the night is "Burke's Law," a Hollywood-themed version of the classic trivia game show. In this game, the teams must answer a series of questions about the lives and careers of various celebrities, with each correct answer earning them points and moving them closer to victory. The catch? The questions are all based on the expert knowledge of one very special guest: former Burke's Law host and Hollywood icon Gary Burke.
Throughout the episode, Jane Lynch keeps the energy level high with her quick wit, playful banter, and occasional attempts at game sabotage. The celebrity guests, including actors and comedians like Jason Biggs, Leah Remini, and Julie Bowen, are game for anything and fully committed to the spirit of competition. With its fast-paced gameplay, celebrity hijinks, and non-stop laughs, Hollywood Game Night season 4 episode 10 is a must-watch for fans of party games and celebrity culture alike.
