Hot Bench Season 1 Episode 155 Punch List Fail!; Gimme Cash! Not a Lifetime of Haircuts!
- March 10, 2015
In season 1 episode 155 of Hot Bench, titled "Punch List Fail!; Gimme Cash! Not a Lifetime of Haircuts!", Judge DiMango presides over two cases that involve disputes between neighbors.
In the first case, a homeowner is suing his contractor over unfinished work and damages to his property. The plaintiff claims that he has paid the contractor in full, but the work remains incomplete and some of the work that was done is of poor quality. The defendant argues that the plaintiff made additional requests beyond the initial scope of the contract, causing delays and additional expenses. Judge DiMango must evaluate the evidence and testimony presented by both parties to determine if the contractor fulfilled his obligations under the contract.
In the second case, a hair salon owner is suing her former employee over an alleged theft of cash from the salon's cash register. The plaintiff claims that the defendant stole money on multiple occasions and also provided free haircuts to friends without permission. The defendant denies the allegations and accuses the plaintiff of creating a hostile work environment. Judge DiMango must again weigh the evidence and testimony presented by both sides to determine if the defendant is liable for the theft and damages to the plaintiff's business.
As always, Judge DiMango is accompanied by fellow judges Patricia DiMango and Tanya Acker, who provide additional insight and commentary throughout the proceedings. With their years of legal experience, the judges are able to ask probing questions and provide valuable legal guidance to the litigants. Through their deliberations and rulings, the judges hope to bring resolution and closure to these disputes and promote justice in their courtroom.
