Ep 4. The Marriage Caper

In the fourth episode of the classic TV series I Dream of Jeannie, titled "The Marriage Caper," viewers are taken on a wild ride as Jeannie interferes with Tony's love life yet again.

The episode opens with Tony's girlfriend, Melissa, coming over for dinner with Tony and Roger. Melissa is excited to share her news that she's engaged to an American astronaut, but Tony is clearly upset by the news. Shortly after, the antique ruby ring Melissa had given Tony as a gift goes missing. Jeannie, who is always hovering nearby, is thrilled to hear the news and reveals that she hid the ring in her bottle as a way to try and get Tony to propose to her instead.

Hilarity ensues as Jeannie, who is determined to marry Tony, uses her magical powers to try and sabotage Tony and Melissa's relationship. She creates a wallet full of money and gives it to Melissa's fiance, hoping it will cause a rift between the two of them. Jeannie also creates a fake bookie and tries to scare off the fiance at the airport. However, her plans backfire and Tony ends up getting arrested for gambling.

Meanwhile, Roger encourages Tony to propose to Melissa and even gives him a ring from the jewelry store where he works. Tony ultimately decides to propose, but not before Jeannie creates a clone of Melissa and uses her to confuse Tony. In the end, Tony proposes to the real Melissa and she happily accepts.

Overall, "The Marriage Caper" is a comedic episode filled with hijinks, misunderstandings, and of course, Jeannie's antics. It's a fun watch for fans of the show, as well as anyone looking for a lighthearted sitcom with a touch of magic.
