Mildred and Dave, the Boomer parents, have to figure out how to deal with feminist issues affecting their business and personal relationships while they babysit their 3-year-old granddaughter Hazel and navigate parenthood. Meanwhile, Debbie and Stew, the millennial couple, navigate parenthood with a rebellious teen daughter, Fiona, while trying to reconnect with each other and fix their broken relationship. However, when a controversial photo pops up on social media that involves their family, they are forced to confront issues of masculinity, feminism, and parenting in the modern world.
